Because of the generosity of our donors, many lives are saved each year.

The Roanoke Valley SPCA relies on the generosity of the community for the support necessary to provide care for thousands of homeless animals throughout the year.  Each gift received is important as we work to achieve our mission to "improve the quality of life for animals and the people they touch" in our communities.

As a limited admission-no kill facility, each life is precious and it is only through the generosity of so many that we are able to save many lives.

Be asssured that your gifts are in good hands at the RVSPCA.  In 2011, we were awarded the coveted 4-Star designation from Charity Navigator for the third consecutive year for sound fiscal management.  We are one of two humane organizations in the state of Virginia to achieve this rating and the ONLY charity in Roanoke to receive the rating.

All gifts are used for their intended purposes and our donor information is never shared nor sold.
