Temporary foster homes are crucial to saving lives! Truly, two weeks can mean a lifetime to a homeless animal.
Volunteering at the RVSPCA is "heart" work!
There are many ways to help the animals at the RVSPCA, both in and out of the shelter. The first step to becoming one of our volunteers is to attend one of the Volunteer Orientation sessions. Sessions are held twice each month. Choose which session is most convenient for you. You would be required to complete a Volunteer Application. For your convenience, click here to complete and submit your application onlline.
The next information sessions will be Thursday, March 20 at 6 pm and Saturday, March 22 at 9:30 am.
NEW!! Interested in volunteer opportunities geared toward family togetherness? Complete the Family Volunteer Application and plan to attend the next orientation session. The Family Orientation will be held on Saturday, March 22 at 1 pm.
Pre-registration is required and is limited to the first 20 participants. Pre-register at firstname.lastname@example.org and be sure to indicate which session you will be attending.
Orientation sessions are held at the RVSPCA Adoption & Education Center, 1340 Baldwin Ave., Roanoke.
